Franco Mazzetti Wears Niki Fulton Ties in Florence

When I launched the range of ties back in 2015, I was given a real boost by a special person Gordon Millar, founder of Scot Street Style. Hugely passionate about fashion and helping Scottish brands, he was a real believer in my designs from the start and kindly offered to take some ties to New York during Tartan Week. Gordon wore my ties, talked about them at various gatherings and introduced them to key members of the New York fashion community. It was a superb launch pad for my small brand and as Gordon and his Scot Street Style brand has grown and grown (you will spot him in feature films now) he still remains very supportive and open with his feet firmly planted in the ground. Below is a photograph of Gordon taken by photographer Laura Meek wearing Richter Red tie from the original collection.

Roll on three years and I very happily found myself at Pitti Uomo , the worlds most exciting and revered mens fashion trade show held biannually in the beautiful city of Florence (please see my previous post here for more images I took at the show).

When I was in Florence, I very quickly noticed Franco Mazzetti (often referred to as Mr.Florence), was the 'go to' influencer, the person people wanted to be seen with, the person brands wanted to see their clothes on and with an instagram feed that style references were taken from.

Fast forward six months and to my absolute delight Sandy Eclipse tie appeared on Franco's covetable instagram stream (with 3,733 'likes' for that post!). Striding through the streets of Florence, there was Franco Mazzetti looking the epitome of style wearing the silk tie, styled as usual, to perfection. I was blown away by that image but more were to follow, this time wearing Peat Tie from the Horizon Collection (3,550 'likes'...not that I'm counting (!)). I wrote to Franco and asked if I could use the photos and he has very kindly sent me the following images. Thank you so much Franco Mazzetti!

His attention to detail is superb and his styling comes naturally, (not surprisingly after spending over thirty years in the fashion industry). His aim is to create a bespoke style for gentlemen "teaching them attention to detail and the unwritten rules that define understated and classic sophistication without foregoing a touch of eccentricity". His gesture was such a lovely act of kindness and one which has become a special part of my brands growth. Franco's encouragement and genuine love of the ties is heartwarming and its been wonderful seeing him out and about in Florence wearing my designs.
